Sennelier's Artist Oil products include tube pigments and pigment sticks known as "Oil Sticks." They can be used together very effectively. Oil sticks are highly pigment loaded. Solid enough to hold in your hand and draw with, the sticks are the most direct method of putting pigment to canvas. All the mediums used with tube oils are for use with oil sticks. Perhaps the most handy and efficient tool for plein air and location painting, the sticks add flexibility and immediate expression to your painting techniques.
Oil pastels are not to be used with oil sticks and tube oils. Aaron will discuss the differences between these three professional oil mediums and will demonstrate how to use them.
