In the demo, you'll get a taste of Bjorn's two workshops where rules will be broken. He will demonstrate many of his techniques, several of which he developed himself: how to utilize specific pigment properties to get formations of vegetation, shrubbery, land and foregrounds in landscape paintings.

Bjorn uses a lot of pigment in his paintings, always using tube colors, to get richer and more colorful results, more vibrant contrasts.

In the last decade, watercolor painting has become very popular in Sweden and the Nordic countries. Bjorn is one of the top sought-after instructors in the area. Since 2014 Bjorn has served as a board member of the Nordic Watercolor Society.

Come watch Bjorn create dramatic skies on full sheets by pouring paint from one of his yogurt buckets. Be prepared for a wet course.

Do it the Nordic Way!
