4:30 - 6:30 pm
Ever thought of taking a sketch book instead of a camera for capturing the memories of your long vacation or journey?
In the first hour, Jenna will show you the basic most necessary travel sketching tools. She will demonstrate the big concepts that build your confidence for filling sketchbook pages everywhere you find yourself in your travels.
In the second hour, everyone will sketch to get practical experience with tools and concepts Jenna presented. While you sketch, she will give one-on-one advice to everyone who attends.
Jenna's grandmother, her initial creative influence, was a professional oil painter with a talent for realism. Jenna's drive for painting, creating, and teaching is lifelong.
As a freelance artist and illustaror, Jenna's tools of choice are watercolor and pen. Since 2012 Jenna has taught in the community colleges of Seattle and Bellevue. Her works have been shown widely throughout Washington.
Perhaps as a gift from her grandmother, Jenna's art focus has always been to enjoy the creative process first. Critique later. This joyous approach is shared wherever she teaches.
