Ed, is currently Director of the Canson Art Education program representing Canson, Arches, Royal Talens, Bruynzeel and Milan. He is also a working artist and has been an art materials consultant teaching materials and techniques for twenty-seven years. His previous employment included MacPherson’s, Koh-I-Noor, and Grumbacher. Ed lectures on drawing and painting materials and methods for art schools all over North America and conducts workshops on color mixing, pen & ink, painting, drawing, paper evaluation, and composition. He has published articles in The Artist’s Magazine, Watercolor Magic, Art Materials Today, Island Arts Magazine, was contributing editor for Palette Talk, and has been acknowledged in more than a dozen art books for his contributions. His formal art education was received at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA, and Baum School of Art in Allentown, PA.
