Mary Shea teaches a drawing class for adults that is appropriate for beginners as well as people with some drawing experience who want additional instruction and practice. Every week there are different exercises focusing on basic drawing elements: line, value, shape, space,and color. This fall's session will also focus on using your sketchbook. "Why" and "how" will be addressed, and there will be practice in using these drawings to create longer and more finished works.

In this two day workshop Ron will demonstrate his technique and show you how to capture the essence of your vacation experience in a loose watercolor painting. This class will focus on simplifying shapes, emphasizing values and capturing the feel of your subject matter with loose exciting brushstrokes. So pull out those photos from London, Paris, Rome or wherever you spent that dream vacation and let’s turn them into some great paintings!

Making greeting cards from you art is one of the best ways to enter the marketplace, with little risk, little expense and potentially great rewards. But how do you price your cards? Where can you sell them – and how? Discuss how to manufacture cards for sale, from selecting art to materials, emphasizing how to maximize your profit. But focus on how to turn those cards into cash – through direct sales, selling partners/reps, and licensing your art to commercial card companies. After this workshop you will never look at a greeting card, including your own, the same way again. For all visual artists working in all media, from painting to pottery.
