“Hands On” Basic Drawing Demo or Mini-Workshop
with Michael Lentz

from 12 pm to 2 pm
This FREE demo or mini-workshop with Michael, will cover the basics of drawing from life. Still life, landscapes, figures, portraits, the principles are all the same.
The demo will focus on the very basics of learning to see and then learning to interpret and design in drawings. It will cover procedure, values, edges, simplification and design, and measuring.
The first half of this demo or mini-workshop, Michael will demonstrate the very basics and lay them out in a simple way.
In the second half of the demo or mini-workshop, you will be drawing fruit (please bring your favorite) and you’ll have the opportunity to apply the new information. Michael will come around and help everyone for the remaining 45 minutes or so.
This demo or mini-workshop is a great chance to begin with the fundamentals or to catch up if you've already got some working knowledge.
