This class is for experienced beginner to intermediate artists. Jean will work with the Artists Guide to Better Painting to focus on how you can better communicate your ideas through painting. Jean will be working with water media, as this is a concept-based class, mediums and technique will be secondary.
Workshop will touch on concepts like knowing your intentions, what style you will engage, elements of design and building good compositions. There will be lots of exercises to learn the concepts, while having fun exploring new ways of thinking and looking at design. Jean will discuss traditional and non-traditional types of composition. Demos, individual instruction and class discussion will be part of the workshop structure.
