Go beyond what you see, and go beyond the photo when painting with Watercolor at this FREE Seattle DANIEL SMITH Art demo. "Learn how to use expressive color and break away from just painting what you see in front of you. Artists' Theresa Goesling and Cindy Briggs will demonstrate how they simplify, add details and rearrange elements to make their paintings more exciting. Learn how to mix it up and make it your own while using exciting color combinations to create captivating watercolors."
Theresa and Cindy ..."will show you how to interpret a subject with captivating and unexpected color and how to creatively add or rearrange elements to add interest to your design. You don’t just have to paint what you see. Students will learn how to design and paint a scene from a number of reference photos and then utilize creative color harmonies with luminescent color. Each instructor will paint a different example during the demonstration. Side by side, the two will paint scenes from the Amalfi Coast sharing stories from their painting adventures."
